Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear aligners to straighten the teeth and correct the bite, and it is an esthetic alternative to braces. Invisalign clear aligners are made using computer technology that plans how to selectively apply pressure to your teeth to get them to their desired positions. They are removable for eating and brushing your teeth to ensure excellent oral hygiene.

The clear aligners are usually changed every 2 weeks, and they must be worn for 22 hours per day to get the desired result. Just like traditional braces, treatment time varies depending on your goals and the complexity of the tooth movements. In addition to the clear aligners, additional appliances may be necessary to achieve the desired result including rubber bands.
