EARLY TREATMENT

Early treatment is advised in certain situations to prevent or intercept more serious problems while your child is still in the early stages of development. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic evaluation at age 7 if you or the general dentist notice any of the following conditions:

Early treatment may give Dr. Zach the chance to guide jaw growth, decrease risk of trauma to front teeth, correct harmful finger sucking habits, improve appearance of teeth and lips, and guide permanent teeth into more favorable positions.

If your child is older than 7 years of age, it is not too late to have their developing teeth evaluated. Please call to schedule your complimentary exam today.
